OF POLITICAL THUGS AND SENSITIVE ASSIGNMENTS : Deportation Or Relocation: Joe Igbokwe says Lagos State Made Mistake

Mr. Joe Igbokwe, the former publicity secretary for ACN, Lagos has agreed that there was a mistake on the part of the Lagos state government in deporting some Igbo persons out of Lagos state. He also blamed the agency that carried out the exercise adding that Governor Babatunde Fashola should have done a follow up on the exercise.

igbokweJoe Igbokwe, who is the General Manager, Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance & Regulatory Agency, LASIMRA, had come under heavy fire for supporting the deportation of 72 Igbos from Lagos on July 24 by the government of Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN). While many Igbos have condemned the action and even called for Lagos State to pay damages to Anambra and to apologise for wreaking havoc on the psyche of the people, All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain Mr Igbokwe stoutly defended it.
