85 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR SEDUCING 14YR OLD GIRL AND RAPING HER (SEE BABA'S PHOTO)

An 85-year-old man known to the Somolu community as Baba Yellow on Wednesday, escaped death at the hands of an angry mob when residents discovered that he had sexually molested a 14 year old girl(name withheld).
Policemen attached to the Onipanu police division were said to have stopped the mob action by arresting Baba Yellow and dispersing the crowd consisting of enraged mothers and petty traders.
Before the intervention of the police, the crowd had dragged Baba Yellow from his residence at George Street and booed him through the community for over an hour.
A resident who identified himself as Olamide said, “The mob stripped and on the verge of lynching him when the police arrived.
“It was one of Baba Yellow’s neighbours who discovered that he had been sleeping with the girl. The neighbour had seen her leaving Baba Yellow’s room and he is notorious in the community for sleeping with young girls.
“The girl’s guardian was immediately informed and she raised the alarm after the girl confessed that Baba Yellow had been having regular sex with her.”
The enraged guardian allegedly marched to Baba Yellow’s house, where she engaged him in a shouting match after she confirmed from his neighbours that her ward had indeed been a regular visitor to Baba Yellow’s apartment.
A father of four grown-ups, Baba Yellow lives with his wife in a one-bedroom apartment. However, the wife who plies her trade at the Mile 2 market is usually away from home during the day.
His victim told PUNCH METRO that she met Baba Yellow at Sunday market, Somolu where she had gone to purchase some items for her guardian. She said, “He gave me some money and asked me to come to his house. When I didn’t show up, he later came to my compound to look for me. That was how we went to his room and had sex. He has been sleeping with me for a month.”
PUNCH METRO gathered that this is not Baba Yellow’s first victim. For over the 30 years he had lived in Somolu, the octogenarian was said to have served a prison term once for molesting a young girl. Sources within the Somolu community said his victims were many.
A mother, who identified herself as Mrs. Biliki Usman said, “He already has a reputation here and most mothers warn their daughters to stay clear of him. Yet he manages to always get victims. There have been claims that he hypnotizes his victims. In 2005, Baba Yellow was arrested and convicted of sexually abusing a nine-year-old girl. He served three years in Kirikiri. In 2011, he was arrested by the Alade police division for sexually molesting a nine year old too. The matter was later settled and did not get to court. There had been other countless arrests.
“Everyone is tired of him; he is a danger to young children and we just want him out of our community, forever.”
But Baba Yellow told the angry mob that he was lured by the 14-year-old girl.
He said, “Each time she comes to my house, she would undress herself and ask me to look at her breast. You can see she has been coming to me all this while on her own; she is a flirt and spoiled child.”
It was learnt that the girl had been taken to Oguntolu General Hospital for medical attention.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, when contacted said, “I will get back to you when I have got the details of the case.

BOKO HARAM: NO CEASE - FIRE WITH GOVT. LET OUR MUSLIM UMMAH KNOW THIS ... PRESS STATEMENT ISSUED BY BOKO HARAM.

**govt claim they don’t know us, it is false, we have met their representatives many times.
**we met with some top Northerners, including Governor Sule Lamido, former Minister of Defence Bello Halliru, and Sheik Dahiru Bauchi. Because of their greed & wickedness, they kept denying us.
**We have no dialogue with Govt, as they keep killing our members.

The Islamic Terror Group, Boko Haram has rejected the earlier release announcing that they have decided to stop all there terror acts against Nigerians.

In their new audio release, Mujhahedeen Muhammad Marwana, who claims to be the second-in-command to Boko Haram leader Imam Abubakar Shekau, conducted in Hausa by phone in Bauchi State, by a foreign journalist.

Marwana speaks authoritatively about meetings between members of his group and some top Northerners, including Gov Sule Lamido, former Defence Minister, Bello Halliru, and Sheik Dahiru Bauchi. The translation, into English, did not provide any context to those meetings.

According to the source which made the tape available, the interview was broadcast yesterday, January 28, but it is unclear when it was conducted and where it was broadcast. Translated into English, the interview shows Marwana dispelling any possible dialogue with the militants because the government has allegedly killed 47 Boko Haram emissaries in dialogue efforts that have never seen the light of day.

In the interview, Marwanna also explained Boko Haram’s predicament in Kano, stating that four principal members of their group are being “unjustly” held there and must first be released as a pre-condition for any future developments. He indicated that there are others also being held in Abuja, Maiduguri and other locations in the North.

He told his interviewer: “Many people have called us for dialogue many times but the government is fooling itself, thinking they are clever but [are] deceiving themselves. They are insisting they don’t know us, it is false, we have met their representatives many times but because of their evil plan they kept denying [us] because of their greed and wickedness.”

Marwana also reiterated that Boko Haram is following Allah’s instruction to serve him and that his group is not attacking anyone unjustly.
He asked: “Before they attack us, have you ever see us attacking them and their cronies from the beginning? Even pressmen we have no problem with them except where there were some plots,” he said.

Apparently on the subject of treachery on the part of the government, he recalled “the first meeting” following the execution of former Boko Haram leader Mohammed Yusuf in Maiduguri.

“We were six in Shehu’s Palace,” he recalled. “From there we were 40 that met in Damaturu and only three of us survived. We went to Kaduna and met in Arewa House; of 11 of us, 10 were killed by special squad of security agencies around Tafa on Abuja way, with all these, who is a cheat and want trouble? We sat with Governor Sule Lamido, former minister of defence, Bello Halliru and Sheik Dahiru Bauchi, this is what we want our Muslim Ummah to know.”

POLICE PENSION SCAM UPDATE: CJN TO INVESTIGATE JUSTICE ABUBAKAR TALBA AND THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING HIS JUDGEMENT ... More Yeye de smell.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Alooma Mukhtar, has promised that the National Judicial Council (NJC)  look into the controversy surrounding the questionable judgement delivered by Justice Abubakar Talba of the Abuja High Court in the conviction of a self-confessed pension thief, Yakubu Yusufu.
The CJN made the pledge through the chief registrar of the Supreme Court, Mr. Sunday Olorundahunsi, when two groups, the Anti-Corruption Network and the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), led a protest march to the Supreme Court in Abuja yesterday.
The CJN said that there was the need ‘to take appropriate action’ on the matter in order to reassure the public that the judiciary remained the last hope of the common man.
The protest letter of the groups was accepted by Olorundahunsi behalf of the CJN.
Justice Talba  gave the controversial judgement last Monday when he sentenced the former director of Police Pension Board  to a two-year sentence on each of the three-count charge with an option of paying a fine N750,000, a sum the convict promptly paid and regained his freedom.  The development was sequel to the guilty plea where Yusufu admitted that he stole N23billion from the police pension funds.
But the Anti-Corruption Network and NANS, in a joint peaceful protest yesterday, threatened to unleash an Egyptian-like protest within 14 days  if nothing was done to remedy the situation.
The procession, which was led by a former member of House of Representatives, Dino Melaye, in company of NANS president, Yinka Gbadebo, and ex-president of West African Students Union (WASU), Daniel Onjeh, started at 11:36am at the office of the attorney-general and minister of justice, where the protesters delivered a letter of protest entitled: ‘Travesty of Justice and Mockery of Judiciary By Justice Abubakar Talba.’
The police and other security men at the entrance of the Ministry of Justice barricaded the premises, which led to a mild drama where Melaye jumped the fence to register his displeasure with a police officer who had earlier given a no-entry order, resulting in an altercation between the duo after which the protesters proceeded to the Supreme Court complex.
But Melaye, who described Justice Talba’s judgement as ‘satanic’, demanded, among others, a re-trial of the pension theft culprit, investigation of Justice Talba, eradication of plea bargain – which he described as archaic – and the entrenchment of Chinese-type capital punishment where the cost of the execution is paid by the family of the culprit.
The two organisations, according to Melaye, were also giving the CJN a period of 14 days to act, and it failed the protesters would return to occupy the Supreme Court.
The protest march, which ended at the Supreme Court premises, had the protesters carrying placards with various inscriptions like: ‘Judiciary: Hope of the Highest Bidder’, ‘Judicial Corruption our Major Problem’, ‘Jankara Judgement for Pension Thief’, ‘N23bn = N750,000 Talbanism’, ‘CJN Investigate Talba’ just as they chanted ‘Injustice Talba Ole.’
Judgement ridiculous, NBA insists
Meanwhile, the Ibadan branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has condemned  the judgement delivered by Justice Talba against pension fund thief Yusufu, describing it as ridiculous.
Chairman of the association, Mr Oluseun Abimbola, disclosed this yesterday during an interview in Ibadan.
Abimbola contended that the sentence was not commensurate with the crime, saying that it would be difficult to say that justice was truly delivered.
“To say that it borders on the ridiculous is an understatement,” he said. “If someone steals billions and you are asking him to pay a fine of a few thousands and he forfeits assets of a few millions, which he disclosed to you, there is probably a lot more than that undisclosed to you that he gets to keep – and you call that justice?”
“Some people who have supported the plea bargaining structure without a proper knowledge of how it functions in other jurisdictions would be defending that?
“In other jurisdictions where you have plea bargaining, it’s not meant to be a slap on the wrist and told to go and sin no more. It is meant to deter. If your crime is such that entitles a court to sentence you to a maximum term of whether life or 25 years, what happens in other jurisdictions, particularly cases that ordinarily would have entitled you to 25 years, you will do 10 or 7 years, not months.”
He warned that if the plea bargaining facility is not well applied, it would become part of the corruption the nation would have to deal with, especially on the part of the prosecution.
He also called for a review of the nation’s laws that prescribe the different sentences and terms of imprisonment, describing them as deficient.
Court remands Yusufu in Kuje prison
Meanwhile, a Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded Yusufu in Kuje prison till March 1 when his trial will commence for failing to make full disclosure of assets and liability in his assets declaration form, a requirement of all public servants.
The new four-count charge brought on the convict by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission also borders on his failure to declare his interest in a company known as SY-A Global Services Ltd.
Yusufu is alleged to have used the company to lodge N250million with a new generation bank.
Controversy has trailed his light sentence, with the EFCC insisting that Yusufu is supposed to serve time in jail after all his properties might have been seized. This development prompted the anti -graft agency to re-arrest Yusufu over his alleged non-disclosure of assets.
But at his re-arraignment yesterday, Yusufu pleaded not guilty to the four -count charge slammed on him.
Lawyer to EFCC, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), told the court that he was ready to proceed with the trial and had two witnesses ready to give evidence against the accused.
He also prayed the court to remand the accused person in prison custody pending the next adjourned date.
But lawyer to Yusufu, Theodore Mayaki, however, pleaded with the court to rather remand the accused in the EFCC custody.
In his short ruling, Justice Bello ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody. He consequently adjourned the case till March 1 for trial.
In the fresh charge, the anti-graft agency alleged that Yusufu had, on February 14, 2012, knowingly failed to make full disclosure of his assets and liability in the Declaration of Assets Form which he filled by not declaring his interest in a company known as SY-A Global Services Limited, incorporated by him and solely owned by him and members of his immediate family. The offence is said to be punishable under section 27(3) of the EFCC Act, 2004.
He was also alleged to have failed to declare his interest in a fixed bank deposit worth N250million which was fixed in the name of the said company in an account it maintained at Zenith Bank International Plc.
The company was also alleged to have another N10million fixed deposit in an account it maintains at one of the first generation banks.  Yusufu is the sole signatory to the company’s account.
The EFCC also accused him of fixing another N29million through one Mr. Danjuma Mele, who is also scheduled to testify as a witness in the trial.
The sum was allegedly fixed at Yusufu’s behest through Mele’s company, Jidag Technical Services Ltd, which had an account in Diamond Bank Plc.
Yusufu was last Monday arraigned alongside other former officials of the Pension Office who were alleged to have pilfered about N39 billion from the pension funds.
He had pleaded guilty to counts 18, 19 and 20 wherein he allegedly connived with the other accused persons to embezzle the sum of N24 billion belonging to the Police Pension Office.

(SEE THE CONTROVERSIAL POSTER HERE) IMAGINE THIS: Pastor Sign Fireman Replies Critics Of His "HOT GIRLS" Church Poster, Says He Is Following The Example Of Jesus Christ.... Yeye de smell

Pastor Fireman has replied critics on his use of hot girls as poster for advertising his church.
Last year, We saw the above poster of Pastor Fireman advertising his church. So this came as a shock to many who didn’t think it was normal for a pastor to use this approach.
It has been almost a year now but a lady, Whitney Chad, supposedly Pastor Fireman’s rep has now addressed this issue in a message to Myne Whiteman’s blog.
The “Hot Girls” flyer of Sign Fireman caused quite a stir recently. Different people had different things to say about it.
According to the pastor: “The point is that God sent me to bring Twenty-First Century innovations that will change Christianity and make it have more results. Let me give you an example.
“Recently, believers do soul winning among believers, Churches “wins souls” from another church. That is not soul winning, that is souls transfer.”
“They are fishing in the frying pan. Real soul winning is reaching out to sinners and getting them saved. To do that, one has to go to where sinners are!”
“That is how Jesus did it! “And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples” (Matthew 9:10).”
“And it brings criticism! “And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, how is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?” (Mark 2:16).”
“Jesus reaching out to sinners was misunderstood, but He didn’t care. Here was Jesus’ response to the criticism: “wisdom is justified of her children” (Matthew 11:19). He called strategy for reaching out to sinners “wisdom,” and said that, contrary to the claims of critics, the strategy is not justified by how it looks but by its results!
Our Hot Girls flyer was a Twenty-First Century evangelistic innovation! We wanted to reach out to harlots. We wanted to take call girls off the streets around the location of the church.
One of the times Jesus appeared to me He taught me that, to catch a fish, you have to use bait! Hence, we designed the flyer with a caption that would attract them! Contrary to the criticisms of critics, the strategy worked! Hundreds of girls were saved, including so many call girls.
We gave those call girls money to move from the hotels and brothels to their own houses, capital for business, machines for starting their  business, and we sent some of them back to school.
Today, many of them are still saved, working, schooling, and some are even married! As Jesus said, the results have resoundingly justified the strategy!
I believe in hardcore, revolutionary evangelism; not the frying pan fishing that many churches are doing today!
Like Jesus did it, real evangelism involves our risking being misunderstood, and reaching out to unbelievers wherever they may be found.
Let’s stop playing nice and launch out and do real soul winning!”
