A 37-year-old Nigerian was found murdered alongside the Anjuna-Canca road at -Parra last night, According to Mapusa police, after they received a call from the Control Room, Panjim, early morning, they rushed to the site ,Mapusa Police yet to identify the deceased .
Meanwhile hundreds of Nigerians and other Africans has gathered at the incident place and demand immediate arrest as they claim that they know the person who murdered.
Murdered Uzoma
Uzoma escaped the first attack, but he and another Nigerian, Obinna Paul Obi were again targeted later, and this time, Uzoma was hacked to death.
Bitterly angered by Uzoma's death, hundreds of Nigerians staged a protest against the killing.
They gathered at Porvorim Highway with Uzoma's dead body and blocked the traffic.
Then they allegedly started assaulting policemen, local people and also vandalized few shops.
This made the local Indians very angry that they too became very violent, started beating up Nigerians, then brutally assaulted the Nigerian in the video above, beat him up till he bled all in the presence of policemen.
Reason for Uzoma's death, according to police, is due to a rivalry between the local Indian drug traffickers and Nigerian drug traffickers.
They also said that about a year back in this same month,there was a similar incident was took place in which A 35-year-old Nigerian was found murdered at same place and Mapusa Police had identified the deceased as Adesoye Ganiyu Folahan ,but the case is still undetected by police ,they also said that Goa police are trying to hurshup the matter.the situation in the village is tense.
THIS IS TERRIBLE, I DONT KNOW WHAT NIGERIANS ARE DOING IN THAT IMPOVERISHED COUNTRY, IF THERE WAS TO BE A REPRISAL ACTION, IT IS THE INDIANS THAT WILL LOSE AS THEIR BUSINESSES WILL BE CONFISCATED AND NATIONALISED.
