Police detectives in Delta State have arrested three persons who claimed to be mortuary
attendants for allegedly making love to dead female corpses. According to reports from
Leadership, 15 bodies believed to have been violated by the night attendants were
recovered alongside used tissue papers and condoms. Confirming the development, the
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Celestina Kalu, said two persons with
identity cards bearing mortuary attendants have been arrested. She said that upon
interrogation, they confessed to the crimes that they have been in the illicit sexual act in the
last one year, saying that they wanted to be rich.
