Last night in London, a high powered delegation of African leaders were in London for the launch of the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation.
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan was there with his wife Patience, President of Liberia -Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Ghana – John Mahama and President of Benin Republic -Yayi Boni also graced the occasion.
The Foundation’s founder former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo was at the event with his wife, Bola.
The Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation partners with change agents, policy makers, global partners and visionary individuals worldwide to tackle critical problems in four critical areas of human security:
- Food and Nutrition Security - Feed Africa Initiative
- Economic Security - Youth Empowerment Initiative
- Gender Equality - Education For Girls Initiative
- Health Security- Health Improvement Initiative
The event took place on Friday 8th February 2013 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
