Members of the insurgents called Boko Haram, on Tuesday afternoon, unleashed terror on police and army installations in Borno leaving many dead.
The attack, which occurred at Bama and Bankai areas of the state, reportedly left several policemen and civilians in the pool of their own blood.
It was gathered that the extremists’ group went on rampage in the towns with rocket propelled grenades which resulted into several human and property losses.
The Boko Haram members reportedly rode in Hilux pick-up vehicles which were used to terrorise residents of the state including the security operatives.
Borno has been the base of Boko Haram group and their activities have led to several deaths. The government is planning to grant the group pardon, which is aimed at stopping the violence experienced in the region.
