Some days ago, fans of Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare, got the sad news that her marriage has finally crashed. The news came to them as a shock because such was never seen coming.
What Aproko247 can authoritatively inform our readers for free is that Laide’s marriage to US-based Olumide Okufulire had crashed over nine months before she made the public announcement some days ago. The actress had successfully kept her troubled marriage away from the press, which was only known to few people.
Another information at our disposal is that as soon as Laide secure an American green card in early 2012, which makes her to enjoy some social benefits in America, she suddenly changed to Okunfulire.
Our findings revealed that Okunfulire, a resident of Baltimore in Maryland in the US, filed for Laide and Simisola’s (their daughter) green cards, which was eventually granted when the American government confirmed that Okunfulire was legally married to the actress.
When the application was approved, Laide and her daughter, Simisola, travelled to America in 2012, and landed in Baltimore to join her husband.
“Laide only used Olumide (Okunfulire) to obtain an American green card,” a competent source told Aproko247, adding that, “she only wanted to get that (American green card) and dump the poor man.”
“These [Nollywood] actresses can be desperate and can do anything to get whatever they want. It is very unfortunate that Olumide became a victim of Laide’s deceit,” the source further said.
Narrating further to Aproko247, our source alleged that, “Laide was not faithful to him (Okunfulire), she was always giving one excuse or the other whenever she outside their matrimonial home. She will always says, ‘I am on a movie location.’
“Trust me, Tunde (Oriowo, Laide’s new husband) will get a share of Laide’s ‘excuses’, you will say I said so in future, just wait and see.”
Aproko247 was unable to get Laide to speak on the allegations as at press time. However, her publicist, when contacted, declined to speak on the issue with us.
