BRING IT ON FFK ... NA UNA REGULAR TRADEMARK : Campaign: Presidency to expose Buhari’s ‘atrocities’, says Fani-Kayode ... DailyTrustNews

The thrust of the strategy to stop the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari from winning the February election will involve documenting the atrocities he committed as Head of State as well as statements made in support of insurgency, President Goodluck Jonathan’s media campaign director, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said.
Fani-Kayode who was recently appointed spokesman of the Jonathan Campaign said while the government does not have any evidence linking Buhari with insurgency it has a dossier of his past statements to show that the APC presidential candidate  has sympathy for the Boko Haram sect.
Speaking at the maiden press briefing since his appointment as media director, Fani-Kayode said Jonathan’s campaign will also dwell on highlighting the achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan in the last four years while making a strong appeal to Nigerians to vote for him again.
He assured that Jonathan will visit Chibok in the next few days to sympathise with the victims of insurgency as well as demonstrate his commitment to curb insurgency.
“We shall not indulge in the type of cheap propaganda, mud-slinging and deceit that the APC and their Presidential candidate have been indulging in over the last few weeks and months but it is our full intention to expose General Muhammadu Buhari for what he really is, what he stands for and the great danger that his candidacy portends for the unity of the Nigerian state and the peace and well-being of the Nigerian people,” he stated.
Fani-Kayode explained that this is because most people do not remember the atrocities Buhari committed when he was in power stressing that it is the intention of the Jonathan team to document the ‘atrocities’ and remind the Nigerian people about them.
“We believe that we have reached a crossroads in our nation’s history and that the forthcoming presidential election is a battle for the very soul and destiny of Nigeria.
“We believe that General Buhari represents a return to an ugly past which is best forgotten while President Jonathan represents our hope for a greater and better future.
