TRAGEDY HITS NOLLYWOOD : SO SAD! Veteran Nollywood Actor Dies ... E24-7Magazine

SAD! Veteran Actor Dies
Veteran actor, Femi Robinson, who played the role of a village headmaster in the classical Television soap titled ‘Village Headmaster’, is dead.
The 75-year-old thespian died this morning, Wednesday, May 20th, 2015, at Ayodele Hospital, Fagba, in the Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos, reports stated.

The son of the deceased, Wole Robinson, confirmed his death to E24-7 Magazine yesterday.
In his tribute to his late dad, Wole said,
“He was a great man. He tried as much as he could to change the world. He had his personal views about life. He was committed to truth and he put his mind and character to pursue his vision and passion. He tried as much as possible to change his environment, the entertainment industry, aviation industry, and arts and culture industry. But as God would have it, his death was not good enough. He has been credited for several deeds in broadcasting, arts and aviation. He was an embodiment of ideas. Three months ago, he came out of this and thought he would survive it. He was a man that never gave up, but he could not beat this one.”
The deceased’s love for arts and culture made him abandon his Botany line of study and embraced acting totally.
The University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) graduate got his first feature in the arts with the role of Odewale in Ola Rotimi’s ‘The gods are not to blame’.
