UPDATE ON THE SOUTH SOUTH STATE CONNECTION TO TERROR SUSPECTS : Government to demolish Boko Haram building in Lagos

The spate of bomb attacks and widespread terror by the Boko Haram Islamist sect has driven the government of Lagos State to resolve on the need to demolish the building where bombs and AK47 rifles were recovered last Thursday in Ijora area of the state.
The Oba of Ijora, Oba Fatai Ojora, disclosed this during a visit by the Arewa leaders in Lagos to his palace on Monday.
The Monarch said that effort to demolish the building owned by the Beyelsa state government was on top gear.
While condemning the suspected Boko Haram members, the Ijora Monarch warned them to stay away from Ijora and other parts of Lagos State.
“The incident is bad; it was prayer that saved us,” the Monarch said, insisting, “Foreigners were staying in the midst of Hausa.”
The Seriki Hausa and the Chairman of Arewa Council of Chiefs in Lagos State, Alhaji Sanni Kabir, described the incident as unfortunate and urged the Seriki Hausa in all the Hausa communities to remain vigilant.
According to him, Hausa leaders in the state have had an emergency meeting and dissociated themselves from the dastardly act. He also called on the federal and state governments to intensify efforts in the provision of security for Nigerians, urging Hausa
leaders to report any strange activity to the Monarch.
Lagos State Police Command Spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, said the police had fully taken over the security of the building in question, until it is finally demolished by the government.
