THIS NGIGE MAN SEF? : Floating corpses: Ngige indicted over Ezu River Report .... NEWS EXPRESS

All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra governorship aspirant, Senator Chris Ngige, has been indicted over the Senate Committee’s report that killed investigations into the floating corpses found on Ezu River in the Amansea area of the state last January 19.
The Onitsha-based International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety) made the indictment while responding to a challenge by Ngige’s spokesman, Mr. Okelo Madukaife, to publicly condemn last week’s demolition, by the Anambra State Government, of a popular Onitsha hotel where three human heads were found in addition to assorted arms.
Replying Madukaife as the debate over the demolition raged on IgboWorldForum and some other yahoogroups, Intersociety Board Chairman, Comrade Emeka Umeagbalasi, said:
“As a surprise and unknown to you, we have spoken out in condemnation of such illegality long before your seemingly ulterior-infested demand. Your own Ngige and our governor, Peter Obi, are partners in this type of illegality. This is because Dr. Ngige, leading his other legislative colleagues, dabbled into the Ezu River SARS massacre with intent to extricate for political reasons, the strongly suspected culprits – the Awkuzu SARS, and as expected, the watery report, which he co-authored, not only exonerated them but also gave them more license to kill at will and extra-judicially.
“In the last week of July, for instance, up 15 detainees were butchered at the Awkuzu SARS dungeon. This included the nine detainees detained in Cell 5, who were accused of attempted escape. Kudos to your principal Dr. Ngige and his other colleagues for magically exonerating the Awkuzu butchery. The exoneration is a further empowerment given to them to kill at will. We are aware that this is a political season so we are fully prepared for the likes of you.”
News Express reports that despite public outrage, nothing concrete came out of investigations into the tens of corpses found floating on Ezu River. Hopes of a breakthrough in the investigations faded after the Senate Committee that looked into the matter released a controversial report clearing the Anambra State Police Command, whose Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was accused of perpetrating the evil, of complicity.
