The plight of residents of Umuekwunne Irete in Imo State got worse on August 8, 2013 as Fulani herdsmen opened fire on the community, slaughtering a 20-year-old young man named Chibuzor Hezekiah Okorie. The attackers amputated his elder brother’s arm and left so many wounded in the community.
