Yours Sincerely was thinking about what N60 billion, which is equivalent to $400 million, can do for Nigeria and came up with these few:
1. It can kick start the Ajaokuta steel company thereby solving the problem of spare parts in our ailing textile and other industries in addition to providing employment to our youths.
2. It can build 10,000 blocks of classrooms
3. It can build 2,600km of tarred roads in our communities at N25 million per kilometer.
3. It can provide 600,000 Nigerians with N1million each to start a business or 1.2 million Nigerians with N500,000 each.
4. It can build 60 industries at N1b each to boost the economy and provide jobs.
5. It can provide 3,000 or more primary health care centres in our rural communities.
6. It can provide free fertilizers for more than 500,000 rural farmers to boost agricultural production.
7. It can provide 12,000 tractors at N5M each to 12,000 farmers free of charge.
8. It can provide 20,000 units of 2bedroom flats free of charge to 20,000 homeless Nigerians.
9. It can sponsor our local inventors who have produced cars, planes and other inventions to improve their talents and produce commercial quantities and standards for exports.
10. It can set up 2 or 3 phone production companies in Nigeria to boost the economy, provide employment and other benefits to Nigerians.
But alas, the CLUELESS, SELFISH, GREEDY and UNPATRIOTIC set of leaders we have choose to throw away N60 billion where it won't be useful.
Every local farmer, bricklayer, labourer, okada rider, truck pusher and the jobless has one or two phones, or atleast, has access to a phone. Thanks to OBJ. But these set of leaders, ZERO.
We are watching and keeping count of ur atrocities. A day will come when u shall answer for them.
