PASTOR FEEDS MUSLIMS AT MAULUD IN KADUNA ... Leadership News

As part of the efforts to promote peaceful coexistence among Christians and Muslims, the followers of the two major religions in Kaduna joined hands together to celebrate edel-el- Maulud.
The occasion was organised by Revival for Peace and Reconciliation Movement of Nigeria under the leadership of Pastor Yuhana Buru.
Speaking during the occasion, village Head of Tudun Nufawa,Dr Yusuf Nadabo called on Muslims and Christians to come together and live  in peace and harmony.
He said the best way to attain peace was for people to avoid rumours and hatred against one another.
“ We have to find a way to stop spreading rumours against each other. This hatred and crisis between Muslims and Christians must stop so as to have peace in our society,” he said.
The traditional ruler also called on the organisers of the event to ensure that they passed the message of peace to the grassroots, saying the people there need to understand the gospel of peace.
He therefore commended the organisers for joining Muslims to celebrate  the prophet’s birthday who he described as father of civilisation.
In his remarks, Pastor Yuhana Buru  said his movement had dedicated this year to pass on the message of peace among Muslims and Christians.
“ I will not want to deceive  Muslims because  God said I should live in peace with Muslims. Bible teaches me on the need to live in peace with others. It teaches me to love for others  what I love for myself, not even to Muslims alone but to pagans also,” he said.
According to the pastor, research made him to  understand that  prophet Muhammad is a messenger of God which Muslims worldwide should emulate.
“So I must respect him for who he was and that was why I feel we need to join Muslims to celebrate him,” he said.
