TRAGIC BREAKING NEWS : Over 100 people feared killed in Kano bomb explosion that hit 2 luxurious buses packed with passengers.

At least 25 people were killed from five explosions that occurred in Kano, Reuters has reported.
The explosions occurred on Monday evening at New Road, Sabon Gari area of the city.
Witnesses said the explosions occurred at a popular and busy commercial luxury bus park where buses that convey passengers to other states of the country, particularly the southern states, take off from. Reuters said its reporter counted 25 corpses.
The police have confirmed the blast but are yet to confirm the casualty.
The area has now been cordoned off by soldiers and police officers.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Kano State has been thrown into pandemonium as a bomb just went off at New Road, Sabon Gari area of the city.
A witness told PREMIUM TIMES that the bomb exploded at the hub of a commercial luxury bus park usually filled with commuters going from Kano to the South.
Another witnesses said an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, was planted near the park causing one of the buses to go up in flames.
This has made it difficult to ascertain the casualty figures.
The blast caused a stampede with many people getting hurt and cars crashing.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Police in Kano, Magaji Majiya, confirmed the incident. He however, said he has not gotten the full details.
