A source at the Christ Victory Chapel International, Oluwaga bus stop, Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos, has confirmed to Aproko247 that the controversial General Overseer of the church, Prophet Ireti Ajanaku, is dead.
The light-skinned man of God reportedly died on Saturday evening in Osun State.
Another source, when contacted on phone by Aproko247, confirmed this story to us. “Yes, [Prophet] Ajanaku is dead,” the source told us.
Further information scooped by Aproko247 revealed that Prophet Ajanaku died after a brief illness. He was taken to his hometown in Gbongan, Osun State, where he died.
Prophet Ajanaku and her estranged god-daughter, Tope Alabi, who is a popular gospel singer, had a strained relationship between them in early 2013. The prophet anointed another singer, Ifemide, to take the place of Tope in his heart.

Prophet Ireti Ajanaku, the spiritual leader of Christ Victory Chapel International died in his sleep between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
A close family member who witnessed Prophet Ireti Ajanaku’s death, has narrated how the incident occurred.
According to the source, the late Prophet fell ill on Saturday in his country home in Gbongan Osun state.A nurse was brought to treat him and she gave him sedative to help him sleep.
By the time his aides went to wake him up for Sunday service the following morning, they found him dead.
