MONKEY DE WORK, BABOON DE CHOP : Pray Harder for Nigeria, Mark Tells Religious Groups

The Security challenge in the country calls for fervent prayers, Senate President, David Mark, has said.
Mark said all religious groups must work harder for the return of peace to Nigeria and its environs, through prayers and dedication.

The senate president gave the charge  at the launching of a N500million fund raising for the new Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lokoja, Kogi State.

Senator Mark, who was represented by the Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, said owing to moral decadence and lots of social vices now prevalent in the society, the remedy lies in building places of worship that would help re-create the society.

The longest serving Senate President said the solution to the nations problems lies in seeking the face of God which he noted could best be done through the building of befitting places of worship.

He commended the Catholic Church in its contribution to the socio/economic development of the nation and called on other groups to emulate the good work of the Catholic Church in its development strategy at uplifting the educational and learning statute of the society.
