Mr. Abubakar allegedly jumped over a fence and entered Sani Shamsudeni’s room of the same address at around 1am, slept close to Shamsudeni who was fast asleep and started romancing his male organ.
His Prosecutor Umar Mohammed told the court that “when Shamsudeni woke up, Abubakar took to his heels. He was pursued and arrested,”
Mohammed said that the offence contravened Sections 95 and 342 of the Penal Code.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Abubakar defended himself saying “I followed a friend into the house to sleep and when we were sleeping, I drew up the blanket to cover myself very well. When the complainant woke up, he asked who came to sleep in his room and he was told that I was the one. That was what happened.”
The Judge, Umar Kagarko, who granted bail to the accused in the sum of N50,000 and a surety in like sum, added that the surety must reside within the jurisdiction of the court and adjourned the case to March. 13, 2013, for further hearing.
