SAN KIDNAP Update: Ozekhome Gained Freedom, Arrived His Home in Lagos (PHOTO)

The renowned human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, has been released by his abductors.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Folusho Adebanjo, on September 12, 2013, Thursday, confirmed this information.
Mike Ozekhome arrived his Lagos home this afternoon in tears of happiness.
Ozekhome who alighted from a black Ford Escalade SUV, ran into the arms of his wife, kissed her an repeatedly said ‘thank you Jesus’.
The legal luminary who had grown a beard, wept on sighting his children and relatives.
The lawyer said his experience in the hands of his abductors is something he will never forget.
It would be recalled that kidnappers in Edo State struck in the afternoon of August 23, 2013, in the southern part of Edo state, seizing the lawyer and the chieftain of All Progressives Congress, Mr. Athanasius Ugbome. Mr. Ugbome has been released on September 8, 2013, Sunday, after his family paid ransom.
Ozekhome's release was also expected on the following day, however, negotiations with the kidnappers had failed.
