Following the refusal of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai to honour an invitation
to him by the SSS until they are can get an authentic warrant of arrest
from the court, a team of heavily armed security men was dispatched to
his home in Abuja at exactly 12:00pm on Friday, cordoning off the
entrance.
Meanwhile, the team of SSS men around the residence, according to Adekeye, appeared determined to carry some tough orders yet unknown.
"It was as a result of this expression of personal opinion that the SSS summoned him yesterday to their office on Friday to make further explanation. Of course, he turned down the invitation, and asked them to come to his house if they needed him for any explanation or, better still, go to court to obtain a warrant of arrest on him."
SSS finally realized their error and quickly rushed to court in Abuja to get an arrest warrant...
Olumyiwa Adekeye, Special Assistant to el-Rufai on media and publicity,
said his boss was being hunted for his statement that "if INEC and the
security agencies do not ensure the conduct of a free and fair election
in 2015, there may likely be violence."
Meanwhile, the team of SSS men around the residence, according to Adekeye, appeared determined to carry some tough orders yet unknown.
Those supporting President Jonathan, who said if he is not elected in 2015 blood will flow, are walking free!
